Daniel Smith

Daniel M. Smith is an investment advisor with Royal Wealth Management. He graduated from Old Dominion University in May 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and minor in Business Marketing. Daniel’s professional career began in 2011 as an intern with Waddell and Reed. He spent a year with the firm learning the industry, licensing, and training from the ground up. In 2012, Daniel took a position at Navigon Financial Group, Inc. to learn comprehensive financial planning. Then in January 2015, Daniel partnered with Royal Wealth Management to provide clients with tactical wealth management strategies.

Daniel is passionate about economics, financial matters, and investments. He is a captive public speaker and loves teaching others how money works.

He has a lovely wife, Renee and a corgi golden retriever named Doug.

Daniel and his wife reside in Virginia Beach. They enjoy gardening, exercising, relaxing, and the beach.

Marcelino Villaflor

In 1998, Marc Villaflor, Jr. began his financial services career at the mutual fund giant Vanguard Group of Investments in Valley Forge, PA. A year later, he was at American Funds/Capital Group in his home town of Norfolk, VA where he would stay for over ten years. From 2009-2011, Marc was the regional 401(k) representative for Paychex Retirement Services covering Central, and then Southeastern, VA.

In 2014, Marc joined Royal Wealth Management so he could truly align his clients’ interests with his own belief that risk could be reduced without affecting returns.

Marc and his wife Kate Heasley Villaflor have four beautiful children. When not spending time with his family, Marc enjoys playing tennis in local leagues.

Marc received a bachelor's degree in History from Saint Joseph's University in 1996. He has served as a board member for the Bon Secours DePaul Hospital Foundation since 2016 and was a member of the Christ the King Church Finance Committee from 2012-2014.

Aiden Naurince

Aiden Norouzi is an investment advisor with Royal Wealth Management. He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Programming, an MBA in International Business, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Finance at Old Dominion University. His main interest is Portfolio Risk Management, which will be the topic of his doctoral dissertation.

Aiden’s career background is in international business with Marubeni Corporation, a Japanese Multi-National Corporation from 2006 to 2012.

Aiden believes that risk is a non-separable part of life, but he hopes that his research in Portfolio Risk Management can help clients at Royal Wealth Management to minimize their risk and maximize their gain from their investments.

Aiden resides in Virginia Beach. He loves reading and playing tennis.

Brian M. Royal

Brian M. Royal is an investment advisor with Royal Wealth Management. Mr. Royal graduated from Lynchburg College in May 2004 with a degree in Financial Economics. During this same year Mr. Royal was the recipient of the Wall Street Journal in Finance and Economics award.

Brian’s professional career began in January 2003 as an institutional trader for PaineWebber. After spending almost a decade making money for multi-billion dollar organizations he left the institutional side of the business and now only works with individuals and small corporations.

Brian has three wonderfully exciting children, 10 year-old Savena, 5 year-old Jack, and 3 year-old MJ. Brian and his children reside in Chesapeake, Virginia. They enjoy fishing, tennis, flying the family plane, and relaxing days creating memories.

Christopher helps manage the insurance departments at Royal Wealth Management.


Christopher brings a plethora of knowledge when it comes to business, risk management and succession planning. In 2012 he sold a very large firm that was founded by him in 2000. With this business accumen our clients are better prepared to navigate their financial lives.


During his free time Christopher loves taking trips and making memories with his two children and little dog named Draco.

Ginny grew up at the foothills in Bedford County, Virginia. After serving as a comptroller for a local country club for 21 years she now serves as the comptroller for Royal Wealth Management.
